WhoAreWe?

Replacing a gas guzzling SUV with a Prius will save the environment 560 gallons of fuel per year.  An F15 fighter burns that much fuel in two minutes of takeoff.  Hybrid cars aren't enough, this Earth Day we have to rethink a foreign policy based on endless war.

Who are we?

Veterans for Peace, Inc. is a national 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1985 with national offices located in St. Louis, Missouri.  Chapters and at-large members are located throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

An annual national convention is held in August.  Members receive a monthly newsletter.  Veterans for Peace was granted United Nations Non-Governmental Organization status in 1990.

Our Sheboygan Chapter got together informally starting in January of 2003 with many goals in mind.  In August of 2004 we achieved full Chapter status and solidified our Purpose and Mission Statement which is closely aligned with the goals of the national Veterans for Peace.  Click here for membership information.
